Or do you know specific photoshop menu's for each task you set for yourself? Painting? Photo editing only? What tools do you use to do this with? Which values do you alter when you work with an image? All scenario based. It all depends on what you want to use it for, Photoshop for the price you pay! It needs to be used for as many things as possible, versus free, and doing everything you can in photoshop at nobody's expense except power utility etc. Pd howler is great Mdiapp is great Open canvas does all the flat work Alpaca also does a lot, free Gimp Black ink Photoshop is also 30 year old tech refined over and out! Purchasing photoshop is in nobody's best interest when there are so many better options at a fraction of the price, or free. There is one version of photoshop for saleīut there are plenty of previous versions, Equally good in my opinion (Photoshop is slightly better in some areas, while Affinity better in others). Main competing product would be Affinity Photo. And it costs more than fully featured competing image editors. Most features have been removed, and the interface is a bit weird.
Note: There is a separate weird handicapped offspring we don't speak about called "Photoshop Elements". Buying only Photoshop is a bit silly as it costs $20.99/month but includes more cloud storage space if you really need that for some reason.
The cheapest option (if we ignore student pricing) is $9.99/month for Photoshop CC (+ Lightroom) by choosing the Photography plan. Photoshop is subscription only.If you found a "one-time" purchase option of $20 for Photoshop CC somewhere, then that was not from Adobe, and a scam.
